Week 9 (Nov 1-5)

HFA4M-this week students will be finishing their micro nutrient assignment which is due Wed Nov 3rd. We will also be discovering our digestive system which will be connected to our weekly lab. All that is then left for this unit is learning about metabolism and then it is unit test time. Our Unit 2- Nutrition test is scheduled for Tues Nov 9th --one week to study. All students present in class today were provided with a unit 2 test outline.

HFN2O-This week we are presenting our Diet, health and lifestyle assignment. Each group is expected to demonstrate their knowledge of diseases associated with nutrition with a slide show and a fill in the blank note that the class will complete from the power point. By Thurs. the HFN2O class will be preparing recipes that they selected associated with their diseases. Next we will be looking at the health impact of fast food!

Report Cards are quickly approaching! Please ask if your student has any catch up work that they need to submit before midterm. They know what they are missing!!!
